The first volume includes thirty studies distributed over a period extending from the fourth millennium BC to the thirteenth century AH / the nineteenth century AD. Its geographical scope is shared by the regions of the Arab East, the Islamic East and its Asian extensions, the countries of the Maghreb and its African and European extensions (Spain). The main topic that dominates the subject of the book is the horse and its related activities in peace and war, its equipment and its cavalry, and what has been written about its subject and its manifestations in art throughout history.
